FAQ
The main function of the extractor is to remove gases and vapors from the environment, thus renewing the interior air.
When purchasing your extractor, be sure to check the dimensions of the unit and the manufacturer’s installation guidelines.
When we talk about inline extractors that work along the duct, extractors can be used in series, that is, one after the other. However, this will only increase air pressure, not airflow. To increase airflow, it is necessary to place extractors side by side, duplicate the duct, or use an extractor with a higher airflow rate.
The installation of the air extractor should follow the ABNT 14.518/2020 standard, both in terms of performance and dimensions and construction characteristics. A good extraction system should always provide better air quality, meeting the needs of your environment. If you’re unsure which product is best, you can contact one of our specialists. We have a team of experts with the technical knowledge needed to help you make the best choice.
The energy consumption depends greatly on the type of extractor and the environment where it will be installed. Sicflux extractor lines offer the benefit of providing air quality and thermal comfort without increasing your energy costs.
Extractors can be installed in any environment where the goal is to promote interior air renewal, being especially advantageous when installed in kitchens and bathrooms, environments more prone to airborne bacteria. They are also essential for larger environments, such as industries and commercial establishments.
